Hollywood Nobody was formed in 2005, in Bandung, Indonesia. The very purpose of the band was to play in a friend's small gig only, performing Feist and Kings of Conveniences’ songs. It was a leisure, no seriousness intended. They decided to play bossanova, but nowadays they prefer to be recognized as a pop Band.

The first single created was "Kiss The Pain Away" that brought Hollywood Nobody as the winner in one of Indie Competition, on 2006, and compiled in the album.

Hollywood Nobody finally signed the contract with FastForward Records, and released the first album titled “Everything Happens for a Reason.” Hollywood Nobody has also been chosen to open some international concert in Indonesia, such as the concert of Kings Of Convenience and The Whitest Boy Alive. Their international career began in 2011, as they became one of the international performers at Baybeats Festival 2011 in Singapore.
