Horse Planet Police Department
The groove-infused indie rock/electronic trio, Horse Planet Police Department, or commonly abbreviated as HPPD, is Ardy Pangihutan (vocal/guitar/synth), Aliefta Widhiawan (synth/guitar/vocal) and Jajang Nurjaman (bass). HPPD was started as a solo project of Ardy Pangihutan in crafting atmospheric alternative music and has transformed into a band with numerous lineup changing. They're now based in Bogor, Indonesia. Often taking inspiration from their secular lives, they make anthems of universal escapism and youth reality, bringing the audience a musical journey in the most oblivious fun way. In early 2017, they released their self-titled EP 'Horse Planet Police Department' which singles 'Euphoric!' and 'Prelude To Ascension' picking up the hot buzz and significant playtime on the internet. The song 'War Is Over (But I Keep One Bullet Left)' also became the soundtrack of the series 'Unscripted Man' by Rein Maychaelson. The band is currently undergoing the finishing process of their debut full album which will be titled ‘Enter Music’, consisting their further exploration in music and each member’s personal preferences.
